Speaking of stating learning objectives, I came across an interesting issue. Blooms taxonomy has been criticized on a number of points. Before discussing them with you, have you got any ideas!!! feel free to share.
In my opinion, it is not important the exactly meaning of the taxonomy word in order to design the aims, it is important to look at the activities and use them in the best order, this invites us to analyze our attitude in the past, and make a little comparison with now. It was o.k. all our methodology and techniques that we were using in our teaching - learning process or we discovered that we use ABCD method have been using but we do not see it. That occurred with me. We use the method but we do not the scientific name.
I'll be interested to hear more about which criticism you are thinking about. I feel it is healthy and important to question the assumptions and paradigms we use, otherwise we become blind to our own prejudices.
